Instructions:
Main hat Using 4mm needles Cast on 28 stitches in Green
Rows 1-2: Knit
Rows 3-17: Starting with a knit row stocking stitch 15 rows
Change to black wool
Row 18: In loopy stitch Purl across.  This is the start of the hair
Row 19: In loopy stitch (K2tog)rpt to end (14sts)
Row 20: In loopy stitch (P2tog)rpt to end (7sts)
B&T

Hands – make 2
Cast on 10 sts in green leaving a long tail of wool
Row 1: Cast off 5 sts knit remaining sts (5sts)
Row 2: Purl to end of row. Cast on 5 sts (10sts)
Row 3: Cast off 5 sts and knit to end of row
Rows 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 same as row 2
Rows 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 same as row 3
Row 15 cast off all sts leave a long tail of wool
 

Making Up:
Body: Cut all loops in half.  Sew row ends together inside out then turn right side out. Add 2 circles of black felt for eyes a yellow pompom for the nose or felt.  Add 2 loops below the nose in black yarn and secure them, cut them in half and then gently thin the yarn to make a moustache.
Hands: To make up you will have 8 fingers fold in half right side out, and put 2 fingers together all the way along you will now have 4 fingers doubled. Over sew all up side and round the fingers and down other side. Sew on the sides of main hat. Take a look at picture if you’re not sure.
